In 1998, Polytechnic International was contracted to theme build Australia's first themed high rise condominium project. Working closley with the Sunland Group and the project architect Desmond Brooks International, we constructed an Aztec getaway within the heart of the Gold Coast - Surfers Paradise.
The contract consisted of construction of:
Artificial rock works to pool and landscape areas
Main entry feature waterfalls featuring sculptured Aztec Gods and two four level waterfalls
Main entry planters and retaining walls
Porte Cochere theme features with water features
Main building entry theme features of Aztec stone walls and sculptured friezes
Aztec temple with four story sandstone wall features
Aztec sculptured friezes and fire columns
Water slide features with ancient dragon heads
Monuments and statues
Internal pool theme features
Aztec stone works, motifs, plaques and buttresses to the building.
